Odilon Emmanuel Cibasu
FOUNDER
​
Emmanuel is a Christian, and an economist by profession. He grew up in Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly known as Zaire) and migrated to the US in the late 90's. For the last twenty years, he has been involved in many charitable fundraising events across North America, Central America, the Philippines, India and Central Africa in the wake of ecological and natural disasters. He is now devoted to providing humanitarian assistance to thousands of forgotten and vulnerable orphans and other children, women, the disabled, the elderly and ostracized persons of the war-torn towns of the D.R. of Congo. He is a husband and father of three.

Mimi Cibasu
CO-FOUNDER

Mimi is a Christian, devoted stay-at-home wife and mother of three. She grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly known as Zaire) and migrated to the US with her husband and DR Congoaid founder, Emmanuel, in the late 90's. She shares his passion for providing humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable communities in her native country.

Daniel Arant
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Daniel is a Christian, and a software developer by trade. But long before he was building websites, he was studying History and Political Science hoping that he could use this knowledge to make the world a better place. Eventually he realized that real solutions begin with individuals, and decided that politics just wasn’t for him. He never lost the desire to help the truly poor people of this world and eagerly threw himself into the cause.
Zion Ramirez

Zion is a Christian (you may have noticed a pattern here) and an entrepreneur. He runs several successful businesses and brings years of valuable business operation knowledge to the team. He is a husband and father of three.

Louis Kasuyi
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
​
Louis Kasuyi is a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo and a Christian. He lived in the United States for 20 years, and, during that time, earned undergraduate degree in Economics from Northern Kentucky University and a graduate degree in Urban Planning/Economic Development from the University of Cincinnati.
​
Louis worked for fourteen years for the Ohio Department of Development. In that capacity, he was transferred to Johannesburg, South Africa to promote business development and Trade. Louis recently retired as an executive of a major international mining company in the Katanga region of the Democratic Republic of Congo where, among other responsibilities, he led the Corporate Social Responsibility department. This job included building and managing hospitals, refurbishing and building schools, supplying medical equipment and basic medicines to clinics and hospitals, and more. He also pushed for strict adherence to Environmental Laws and Practices in order to improve living conditions around the mines.
Louis has devoted the rest of his life to making a difference in the lives of the needy and the neglected, especially women, children and the elderly.

Louis has been happily married to the love of his life for 46 years. Together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
Randy Kalemba
BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Randy was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium and is the son of a Congolese immigrant. He is studying political science at the University of Ghent and is very politically active. He is also a museum guide.
​
Randy believes strongly in helping others, and particularly his Congolese brothers and sisters, out of love, patriotism, and a belief in human dignity.
